Public Notice on Unrecognized Boards

it has come to the notice of the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE) that some of the private boards/ councils have affiliated schools and are issuing certificates in violation of the set norms and practices. Some of these private boards are running Study Centres on franchise basis also, which is not fear.

*It is also informed that private boards cannot affiliate an institution /school.they cannot issue certificate of qualification, especially of class X and class XII.Class X and XII Certificates can only be issued by an under the seal of a board duly established by an Act of Parliament/State Legislature or by an Executive Order of the Central/State government.

What is the Difference Between School Recognition, Affiliation and Accreditation?

1.Recognition:-is when you acknowledge the existence, validity or legality of something. 

2.Affiliation:-is when you are officially attached,associated or connected to an organization.

3.Accreditation:-is when you give credit or official authorization to someone for something.
